My partner has 2 developementally delayed girls ages 11 and 12. I have been with him for 3 years with the exception of the 5 months I couldn't take it anymore and went back to my family in California. I do everything for them to help them acheive higher standards than what was expected of them when I met their father. I teach them how to say pillow and not pidow, etc, as I have observed them each very carefully and know that they can do much more than anyone seemed to be teaching them. They both get SSI/SSD and he does not work. They go to school and one of them is in special cles, but they are gone all day. I cook, clean and prepare the entire house for their coming home as they are quite demanding of me. They are not so demanding of their father as they feel the answers will be no, or they will be told to do it themselves with no monitoring of the mess that they create. He does not work outside of the home and pretty much lays down all day and watches TV. On occasion he cooks dinner and does a load of laundry that he has to be reminded to put in the dryer and take out. When the school calls, he says he is the one who helps them with homework, he is the one who has noticed or observed things about them, and all along it is me. I tell him things about them and other things and he acts always like it was him. He calls people and says things like I am cooking dinner and gets a oh you are so special from his female crack head friend. Well considering I do this day in and day out and not frozen food, homemade tamales, enchiladas, chinese food, whatever he wants, aren't I special? It all just seems to go unnoticed and unappreciated. And the meal he may cook, he talks about how wonderful it was and expects us all to rant and rave for the entire night about it. What the heck is going on here? What do I do, I tried to tell him and he shuns it all off.

Hey Im a total klutz and i live up north. It was December and the ground was covered in thick ice. I was running I tripped and hit my left knee. I cried and it swelled up for 2 weeks! (this was on the first weekend of dec. last year) I couldnt walk properly on it and it finally stopped hurting two months later. Now randomly when I walk it "moves" like its not attached to anything. I was trying a new cream few days before and I got some sort of nettle-rash - not color changes, though, but the skin is not smooth at all, it itches and even a few pimples appeared! I've tried everything but I can't warm up?

I got in from work and its old outside and at work. I've been laying in bed for 2 hours since with my electric blanket on the highest setting, tights and pjama bottoms, wooly socks, two tops and a jumper. The radiator is also on. Fragile splitting nails?

Up until a few months ago, I wore acrylic nails for about 10 years. I am now pregnant with my first child and I had the nails taken off because of the dust from the salon. Aggressive Dachshunds?

My mom's dachshund has a mean and violent side that is getting worse. He attacks the other dogs in her house and will not stop until he is seperated..sometimes these attacks are unprovoked. It attacked our puppy twice and they were getting along just fine. The last time it nipped me in the hand when I pulled it away. I scolded it and cleaned the bite wound. 2 weeks later it attacked my husband and bit his hands really bad when he tried to get it off him. At work I share an office with two other middle aged men and a lady who has only recently started. I'm a coaster junkie and Cedar Point is my favorite place on Earth, but to this day I have NEVER been on a stand-up coaster that was remotely comfortable. I personally hate them and yes, the restraints are a bear and the shorter you are the more they hurt. My girlfriend is your height and at 5'1, your head lies right between the shoulder restraints, which means every twist and turn bangs your head from side-to-side off the pads. Not comfortable. The restraints don't cover your legs at all, you just stand up and the seat under you adjusts to your height. Then you pull down the shoulder restraints which are just like the ones on many other sit-down coasters and you're set to go. Mantis at Cedar Point is probably the least painful one I've been on but I still don't really like it and I've been on many of these rides.

I will have my sis, sis-in law and a close friend as my maids. My friend is "goddess sized". ( larger) My sis is tall, very thin and likes to show off her figure. Why sell to the public, when you can bribe one government official. As for the US, lobby groups spend huge amount of money to find ways to encourage drug use. XBOX RROD 2 lights? but my XBOX isn't hot?

Ok, I turned my XBOX on and the fans got REALLY loud...and then I got the RROD with two lights on. So I turned it off and waited a little bit....When I turned it back on it worked fine and wasn't loud....but about 15-20 minutes into playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, I get the RROD with two lights, saying it's overheating, but neither the XBOX or the power brick is hot. The power brick is warm, but it isn't hot, so I hung it up on a hook so it could get more air...that didn't work. Ok, I have a clean space, without anything around it, and my XBOX is in a well ventilated area. What is the deal? Oh, I also took my air compressor and blew dust out of the back fans and vacuumed the back too. And I thought it was the game, so I put in a movie, and I was able to watch it without any worries. How can I troubleshoot someone else's computer from my computer?

My mom is in her late 60s and gets very frustrated with her computer. I try to help her via email or the phone if I can, but I am very visual and find it difficult to understand what she is trying to describe (especially since she isn't sure of the names to call various computer-related items). Is there a program I can purchase (or download for free) that would allow me to view her desktop from my computer? I have something like this on my MacBook at work via Bonjour which allows me to do exactly this, but my mom has a PC and since I wouldn't be able to load personal software onto my work computer, I will have to use my PC at home. Has anyone seen a "easy-out" tool to remove inground sprinklers, like Toro or Orbit or Rainbird? Our gr has grown thicker and taller over the years and now the sprinkler pop-ups don't clear the top of the gr. I know that the sprinkler just needs a longer riser to lift it up to level of the gr, however, you have to dig up all the gr and dirt to get enough leverage to uncrew the sprinkler body either by hand or with Channel locks. If the body is on tight , the channel locks just ruin the plastic as it is rather flimsy. I can get the cap off and I have the easy-out for the riser, but the sprinkler body is a real trick. I went to Lowes and got the ????????

I grounded him to his room for all of this. His response was to runaway. I called the police. I was told since this was his first time nothing was going to happen. He took off a second time. I had to fight with the police to file charges. The problem I'm having is with the defense lawyer. At first I didn't care he had an attorney. Now I'm finding out that he told my son that it's not stealing if it belongs to us because it's our job to provide everything he needs. It's perfectly acceptable to take and eat anything he wants without permission. Then when we went to court the prosecutor and defense attorney worked out a deal for him to take counseling with my wife and I. I asked what kind of punishment that was to my son. I then refused to sign the deal. In response the defense attorney asked that Family Services launch a full investigation into our family, and for a recess. I later found out from my son that the defense attorney attempted to get him to file neglect charges for making him do chores. The CASA worker told him that was ridicules that most children do chores. I told the court that this was nothing more than retaliation for me complaining about the situation. I feel that the defense attorney is attempting to do harm to my family and our relationship with our son. The question I have is do I have any options? Do I have a choice if this lawyer can have unsupervised visits with my son? I was trying to do right by making my son take responsibility for his actions. Now it has turned into what awful parents we must be. It seems obvious this lawyer has no morals. What can I do? Thanks

I pretty much dyed my hair the exact same colour, although i did it with a chemist bought 10 day wash out and my friend did it for me while we were in a backpackers. The colour looks great considering you have the right complexion. I have a creamy skin colour (kinda tanned) but i think itd suit a pinky complexion too. A hairdresser would be able to do it really well and they would be able to record the colour you got, so you can go back and get the regrowth patched up every couple of weeks. But if you have a hairdressing friend who could do it for you at home, that would save you a tonne of money (since a vibrant red would be expensive to have a prof. do)

She is a domestic short hair. Most cats do not have a "breed", they are simply labeled as domestic then clified by the length of hair. Her coat pattern is tabby, but clifying it further is out of my realm of expertise. If she is not from a breeder, then its very unlikely she has anything like mau in her since mau breeders are usually pretty reputable and don't sell their kittens unaltered except to other reputable breeders. She is adoreable tho!! No need for her to be any specific breed :)

am i honestly a bad person? i called my cousin in india for raksha bandhan. i talked to him for a few minutes then i gave the phone to my mom then his wife came on the phone. is that a sign that my cousin was busy? i wrote to him asking if they were affected by new delhi bomb blasts but i havent heard anything. i wrote to him on his personal email instead of writing to him on his office email. lately, his company has been going through financia losses and therefore i realized that he must be busy with his job and i should wait. everytime he talked to me on the phone last year, i told him i was busy. when he came to visit me in june, the very first thing he asked me was what i'm doing that i'm busy all the time. when i told him, he was able to tell i was making excuses. could it be now he is pretending to always be busy? when he came to the usa last year, he came by himself and didnt get time to visit me in california. when i went there, i spent three days with him then he asked me to visit india but i couldnt go. when my sister went, he thought i was coming too but i didnt let him know i wasnt coming and he called me on the day he met my sister. i told him i got busy athen his reply was "omg! everyone is busy then said we'll see when you have vacation. he called me up in april. he wanted to come visit me end of may/beginning of june of this year but i wasnt available so he came on june 18th for five days. he flew back to india on june 23rd and flew directly from lax. he took a 7 am flight from new york and landed in california around 10 am pst. when he went back to india, he took a 8:40 pm flight. he works in a bank as the vp. he was on vacation from may 23rd and reached india on june 25th. do u think he did all that because he wanted to spend time with me and wants me to remember them? when i wrote to him, he used to always reply saying hi but now he doesnt say hi anymore but he still replies. he told me i can write to once twice a month on his office email letting him know what i'm doing. i wrote to him for india's independence day and he replied me within two minutes. then i called him for raksha bandhan. when i told him who it was, then he said hi. i replied to his email a few days the following week but no reply. i was uming he spoke to me on the phone or he was busy in his office. can someone honestly send me some feedback? we might to go to india next year since my cousin and his family came, then my mom's sister and brother-in-law came. am i a rude person? after he left, i realized that it was my fault. if i written to him, things would have worked out smoothly. i miss them. they involved me in everything and made sure i wasnt left out. before going to new york, my cousin who lives in new york shifted to a new house. two days after i came, her landloard just showed up unannounced and fixed her place up. later on, my cousin said "we'll get ready and we'll go out." a few minutes later, his sister asked me. the next morning, my cousin said good morning. he gave me a hug and said "you must have been bored to death. things have been hectic for us." can i get some honest opinions? does it show this cousin cares about me?

I'm 16 year old boy and I was walking into the swimming pool and asked these two girls(a women in her 40s maybe and then a girl in her 20s) and asked what time it was. They said ten and I was like oh thanks! Then I walked away then they called me back and asked if there was a club house around to change so obviously they were not from my apartments I live at. Sooo meanwhile I chill in the pool till around 11ish I started walking home when I noticed the two had a big case of beer and they were already tipsy I could tell. Soo I thought about it halfway home I turned back around and thought, they are already drunk it wouldn't hurt to take a couple. So I walked back in and they glared at me in a nice positive way(we were being friendly because we both asked questions and both got help.) so I jumped in the pool got out and got in the hottub where they were at then they got up and stumbled in the pool and around the ledge where they were blinded for a minute. So I got out of the pool and sat on a chair close to their stuff and I slipped out four milla lights and I wanted five but, it was too late the younger girl screamed "hey!!" and I was like "oh ****!" grabbed the four and darted. When I got home I started feeling reeeaaalllllyyyy guilty. And I decided to ask you guys. Maybe she thought I was stealing her money or stuff. Like it's only four beers right? :,( and that's all she said was "hey!!" so anyone give me advice. I haven't drank them yet I'm waiting till saturday night when I'm bored.
