Does anyone else's dog get a big burst of hyperness right before bedtime?

Mine often does..A couple minutes ago he was running around the apartment pouncing on toys, flinging them in the air, then attacked a tennis shoe and was dragging it around by the shoelace, then just started hopping around like a big goofball..then he crashed and is now snoring underneath his blankets, lol. Anyone elses dog do this?
