Best way to store kids outgrown toys?

See I was always afraid to take them apart, because I thought I would lose parts and they were pretty expensive lol. I used big 30 gallon garbage bags with draw strings for my swings and stuff. I would wrap it around and tie it up. It's helped so far. Got totes for the small toys.
